The Office of the Banking Ombudsman has used the current LANWorx Case Management System ("CMS") to manage its substantial caseload effectively during the past three years.

The CMS has been extensively customised to handle the complex case workflow managed by the Office. It is required to manage:

  • multiple instances of life cycles
  • different case types
  • changes to case status, and outcomes
  • multiple links between investigators and banks, and customers, and customer representatives
  • an extensive list of unique banking products and services

The system has been set up to be intuitive and easy to use by investigators and has performed reliably since initial set up. It enables investigators to create and track the various interactions between customers and banks and to recall information held easily. Customised reporting has been provided, and work is continuing on the development of additional functionality to provide further levels of automated case management, and to further refine reporting for stakeholders.
